Intoxicating Love-Conflict

  • June 22, 2014
  • Speaker: Phil Courson
  • Text: James 3:17-4:3; Galatians 2:20
  • Series:

Conflict happens to even the most godly of people. It happens in our marriages as well.

James 3:17-4:3

17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Warning Against Worldliness

4:1 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions [1] are at war within you? [2] You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

Galatians 2:20

20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (ESV)
