Phil Courson serves as Senior Pastor of Abundant Grace Community Church. He and his wife Kay have been married since 1982. They have five children – Stephen (wife Lindsay), Brandon (wife Annie), Tyler, Zach (wife Ashley, and Kayla (engaged to Victor). They have one grandson.
Phil has been involved with full-time ministry since 1986, and began Abundant Grace in 1997 after serving on the pastoral team of Metro Life Church in Orlando, Florida for 7 years.
Phil is Vice President of the Alachua County Christian Pastor’s Association. He and Kay have a passion for Jesus Christ, a love for people, a heart for the local church and a desire for the city of Gainesville and surrounding communities to “experience and express the glory of Christ.”

Mike Gilland joined the leadership team at AGCC in June of 2002 as a pastor and worship leader. Prior to that date, Mike had been a pastor on the staff at Metro Life Church since 1987.
He and Cindy were married in 1976, and they lead a community group at their home off of Tower Road, near Haile Plantation. They have four children – Stephanie Jessee (husband-Chris), David (wife-Beth), Angela (husband-Zac), and Allison (husband- Jason). Mike & Cindy are also grandparents, as Stephanie and Chris have two sons and a daughter; David and his wife Beth have two sons and are expecting a little girl; and Angela and Zac are parents to a son.

Tim Blakemore, along with his wife, Angie and their children, moved to Gainesville in 1997 as part of the church plant team that supported Phil Courson in starting Abundant Grace Community Church. Tim and Angie have been married since 1995 and have four children – Josiah, Noah (wife-Michelle), Claire, and Sam.
Prior to moving to Gainesville, Tim worked at Missionary Ventures, a missions organization, as the office manager. He now works full-time at a local company in Gainesville and serves AGCC as a bi-vocational pastor and administrator (on a part-time basis). Tim is responsible for the finances, several service teams and administrative support of our ministries.

Rick serves Abundant Grace as a bi-vocational pastor. He has been part of the church since 2002, moving to Gainesville from Indiana where he had served as a pastor for several years. He and his wife Lettie have two children, Isaac and Katie.
Rick works full-time for a local energy company in Gainesville. Included in his list of responsibilities at the church is preaching on Sundays, giving oversight to our Youth Ministry, the School of the Word, and our Foundations Class (our gateway for church membership). Rick is a gifted communicator, and has a passion for God’s Word.
